As a former prosecutor, Aaron Wagner witnessed firsthand the overwhelming challenges victims of sexual assault face navigating the legal system. Despite his dedication, compassion, and determination to support them, the victims were not his clients—leaving their needs unmet in many cases.

Motivated by these experiences, Aaron founded Live Worthy in 2014 with a mission: to provide free legal advice, representation, advocacy, and support to victims of sexual assault and their families. Since its inception, Live Worthy has made a significant impact, representing dozens of women, children, and families—all at no cost.

Aaron’s work includes drafting critical legal documents, such as advocacy letters and memorandums, to ensure victims’ voices are heard by prosecutors and decision-makers. He’s traveled on short notice to attend key meetings, stood by victims at hearings, and filed legal motions, including those for Sexual Assault Protection Orders. Through every step of the lengthy and emotionally taxing legal process, Aaron has remained a steadfast advocate—offering comfort, guidance, and unwavering support.

One case that deeply reflects Aaron’s commitment began in the fall of 2020, when he met Angela, whose daughter was tragically assaulted. Aaron stepped in to provide pro bono support, offering legal advice and compassion to Angela’s family. Over 3 ½ years, he tirelessly fought for justice, working with prosecutors, responding to questions and concerns, and ensuring that Angela and her daughter had the advocacy they needed. Thanks to Aaron’s resolve, the case ended with a guilty plea and the perpetrator behind bars.

Angela credits Aaron’s strength, expertise, and friendship with helping her family endure the grueling process. Together, Aaron and Angela remain committed to the fight for justice for victims of sexual assault. Through Live Worthy, they aim to bring hope, healing, and justice to families in their darkest moments.
